Next to the street

In Katmandu, There are not many parks to hangout out or meeting somebody. But It does not mean people in Katmandu don't hang out. In the South Asian culture nest to the street are using as meeting places. It is part of their daily life. Reading newspaper, meeting a friend having tea or sunbath next to streets. Why not?

It's very easy to get connected on the street with people most of the South Asian cities. Especially in Katmandu. I was walking around the different part of the city. Whoever comes to the street he/she part of the location. Nobody comes and question you what are you doing here. Might get an invitation for chai (Tea) instead of asking why you are here.

It's meditative practics hanging out next to the street and enjoying the moment. Need to accept the very sound environment. It shows calm meant not only just being silent.
